A Belgian Quad is an ale of great strength and bold flavor. It’s typically a dark red or brown color with a full bodied, rich malty body. They are usually 9-11% with low bitterness.
A Quadruple IPA is an exceptionally robust, malty ale with an apex hop profile. They are usually over 11%, full bodied (almost wine-like), and are specialty styles that only a few breweries venture to brew.
